According to a legend, while cultivating herself in Yinping Mountain,  Guanyin bodhisattva overturns the white jade bottle by mistake, wakening a toad which has successfully fostered kindan. This toad leaps foward to drink the gyokuro, which caught the attention of Guanyin bodhisaottva. Realizing that the toad is reluctant to make progress and want to get it for nothing, Guanyin bodhisattva pointed it with jade finger, a ray of golden light pricks at the toad. Pitifully, the toad spits the kindan with a sound of wow. The toad becomes the now Toad Stone at the middle of the Yinping mountain, while the spitted kindan hang on the cliff at the middle of the Yinping mountain, exposed to the rain and wind, which becomes a shagging stone.
